This website was designed to keep members of Local 2879 and the citizens we swore to protect informed about their Fire Rescue Service. The Union Firefighters of Local 2879 care deeply about the level of service provided to our citizens. We believe that the current needs of our taxpayers are best served by instituting Paramedic level care district wide. With the assistance of our supporting Fire Commissioners, we will lead the charge to ensure that ALS care is attained as rapidly as possible.
